1) Congrats on the release of your new EP! What messages are you sharing with A Glitch In Our Virtual Reality?

Thank you! The main point that I want to get across with this ep is that everything will eventually be ok. If you are in a situation that is hurting you or limiting you now, get out of it! I know that is easier said than done but I want everyone to know their worth and not accept less than from toxic people. The EP is a concept record with each song representing a stage in the lifecycle of a relationship. Songs like, “I Used To Build Dreams About You,” represent being in love, then you have the polar opposite of a song like “Hi, my name is lonely,” representing the darker stages of a break up. STAGES ARE OKAY. They help you grow.

2) Artists work incredibly hard to have such a successful EP. How do you prevent creative burn-out and keep that passion going?

I haven't experienced burnout creatively because I truly love all aspects. I look forward to brain storming my cover art, planning a music video, styling myself, creating a social media roll out plan, promotion across platforms, etc. I feel like I have only released music I genuinely like. I like it so much I want to listen to it (lol). It does get hard when you're working 1000 miles an hour and as hard as you can work and still some accomplishments are out of my control. I can't control if I have a song go viral on tiktok, or even what playlists the dsp’s support with.

3) Tell us about the "switch." music video. Who collaborated on it with you and how did it come to life?

This video was so fun to film! I would say I am slightly into acting, so getting to act a little in my music videos is always fun. I did this video with some of my good friends- Bryant Bural and Noah Tidmore as well as their team they like to bring on. They really let me have a vision as an artist and listen to what I want and like, and then take it to the next level and make it so much better with their creative expertise. Clearly, I cant and dont want to do it all so I love that part of the job- getting to hire out other creatives to do what they do best- especially when they are your friends.

4) You’re one of the top sellers on Depop! Can you elaborate on how you have such a successful store? What do you love most about fashion?

My store's success came from posting on tiktok. It is insane the cross over tiktok has across platforms. I started posting a lot of fashion content and it started to blow up on tiktok. Those people would follow and buy from my depop. I have well over 35,000 followers on depop which is a built in market. I love fashion and always have. It is another way to express myself creatively.

5) You grew up in Huntsville, AL and moved here for your career. Tell us about the move to Nashville!

I graduated highschool in may 2018, and moved here July 1st of 2018. I was 18 and had no idea what I was doing. I lived with two amazing girls a few years older than me and they really made me feel comfortable enough to where I was able to branch out and explore. I started in country music and was doing that till Jan of 2019 then I started to venture into the pop world. Sept of 2019 I released my first project, an ep titled “Why do I laugh when I cry?” with three tracks on it.

6) What do you want other creatives moving to Nashville to know about our city?

Nashville is so big, yet so small. There is enough room for everyone, and everyone is so kind the biggest thing you can do is support your peers and really try to make as many meaningful connections as you can.
